1. Overview

QUICOPY ("we", "our", or "the app") is a macOS utility that allows users to output predefined text snippets via global keyboard shortcuts. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. Data Collection & Storage

All data created within QUICOPY — including your keyboard shortcut mappings and text snippets — is stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard storage mechanisms (UserDefaults).

Optional iCloud Sync: QUICOPY offers an optional iCloud sync feature (disabled by default). When you enable iCloud sync, your shortcut mappings and preferences are synced across your devices via Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage (NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore). This data is transmitted and stored by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not operate any servers and have no access to your iCloud data. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the app's preferences.

3. Accessibility Permission

QUICOPY requires macOS Accessibility permission to:

• Detect global keyboard shortcuts you have configured

This permission is used solely for the app's core functionality. QUICOPY does not monitor, record, or log any keystrokes beyond detecting your configured shortcut triggers. No keystroke data is collected, stored, or transmitted.

4. Automation Permission

QUICOPY requires macOS Automation permission (System Events) to:

• Simulate a paste action (⌘V) in the currently active application to output your predefined text

This permission is used solely for pasting text into other applications. QUICOPY does not use Automation to read, monitor, or interact with any other application's content or data.

5. Clipboard Access

QUICOPY temporarily uses the system clipboard to paste your predefined text into the active application. The app:

• Saves your current clipboard content before pasting
• Restores your original clipboard content after pasting
• Does not read, store, or transmit your clipboard content

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

QUICOPY offers in-app purchases and subscriptions processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information about how Apple handles purchase data.

7. Third-Party Services

QUICOPY uses Umami, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics tool, to collect anonymous page view statistics. No personally identifiable information is collected or stored. No cookies are used. The only other external service used is Apple's StoreKit framework for processing in-app purchases and subscriptions.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is under your full control:

• You can delete individual shortcut mappings at any time within the app
• You can use the "Reset All Data" feature in the app to restore default settings
• You can export all your data in JSON format from within the app
• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device
• If iCloud sync is enabled, you can disable it in the app's preferences to stop syncing. To remove data from iCloud, disable iCloud sync and delete the app

9. Children's Privacy

QUICOPY does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. The app does not collect personal information from any user.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Auto-Renewable Subscription Terms

• QUICOPY Pro Monthly offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial ends, your Apple ID account will be charged $1.99/month automatically.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
